Stockholm Showcase, 2011

A large-format evening reception at the Grand Hôtel Stockholm overlooking the Norrström, bringing 40 participating LHW member hotels together with the market's most valuable luxury travel buyers for a night of networking and discovery.

• Staged the reception across the Grand Hôtel Stockholm's historic waterfront salons on the Norrström, using the hotel's gilded ballroom and parquet halls as the event's backdrop.
• Hosted VIP Leaders Club members, AMEX and Centurion cardmembers, and corporate travel buyers alongside 40 participating LHW member hotels.
• Designed the room flow around member display tables so buyers could move easily between hotels for one-to-one conversations.
• Programmed live entertainment throughout the evening — a classical string quartet in the ballroom and a pianist at the grand piano in the reception hall.
• Opened the evening with a welcome speech setting the tone for the showcase and the LHW collection.
• Partnered with the Grand Hôtel Stockholm kitchen on an unparalleled canapé and dessert program passed throughout the reception.
• Dressed the venue with large-scale seasonal floral installations and warm amber uplighting to unify the historic spaces.
• Created and implemented a full risk-assessment plan for the event.
• Worked with stakeholders to align on event goals, objectives, and strategy from the outset.
• Led the event from concept through completion using in-depth project management.
